In less than 48 hours, Rapper, Cardi B., dropped her debut album, that went gold in one day, got Oprah’s seal of approval and made her first appearance on SNL announcing her pregnancy…. Be careful with her.
Since day one, Cardi has been a powerhouse. Her rags-to-riches Binderalla story as a dancer who rose to fame, is proving that she belongs at the top. Transitioning from a Social Media Personality to a reality TV star on VH1’s Love & Hip Hop: New York, to a household rap artist whose album is expected to reach No. 1 on Billboard 200, looks like her little 15 minutes are lasting long as hell.
I’m not mad at you sis, get this ssssssshhhhmoneyyy!
The track list on, Invasion of Privacy, connects with every girl from across the globe. Featuring artists, SZA, 21 Savage, Kehalni, J Balvin and Bad Bunny, Migos, YG and Chance The Rapper, she did not come to play, Okkurr! Cardi’s lyrics provoke confidence as she paints the picture of being a bad bitch and doing whatever she feels to staying vulnerable with her fans and pouring out her emotions about feeling betrayed in a relationship.
This anticipated album is better than I expected it to be. She stayed true to herself and made haters out of believers. As always, she came with the ratchness, represented her Spanish vibes on the album, but also switched up the flow with some melodies. Cardi is proving that she is more than an artist, not just a rapper. Is she a stripper, a singer, or a rapper? She is an entertainer!
